Job DescriptionQuantitative analysts, also known as quants, are experts in numbers and create risk-management models through extensive analysis. Salaries for this career are pretty high, sometimes starting at $100,000, but breaking into the field requires a deep knowledge of mathematics or physics and sometimes both.
