The Scoop
Founded by Father Paul Sheridan in 1977, Boys Hope Girls Hope is a nonprofit focused on children facing hardship, whether that be based on living circumstances, family, finances, or sub-par schools. The organization maintains non-institutional homes across the US and Latin America in which these children (“scholars”) live alongside live-in residential counselors. Scholars live in a family-like atmosphere and receive support to reach their full potentials, focusing on emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual development.
