Overview
The Scoop

Since its founding in 1973, Bain & Company has grown to be one of the world’s leading global business consulting firms. The firm has 48 offices across 31 countries, serving Global 500 companies, regional and local companies, and private equity funds around the world. Bain employs thousands of consultants, who work collaboratively under the company’s “one team” approach to achieve results for its clients. Among the industries it serves are consumer products; financial services; health care; media; oil and gas; private equity; technology; telecommunications; transportation; and utilities and alternative energy, among others.

On the Job

Bain offers two types of consulting internships--the Associate Consulting Intern program and the Summer Associate program--as well as non-consulting internships. Associate consulting interns and summer associates are integral members of Bain teams, working on complex business issues and experiencing first hand what it is like to work as full-time associate consultants and consultants. Interns benefit from coaching, on-the-job training, professional development activities, and social events. Associate Consulting Interns attend a week-long training program, and Summer Associates participate in a global training session, as well as a sponsor weekend with their significant others.
