The Scoop
The Illinois Legislative Staff Internship Program (ILSIP) is funded by the Illinois General Assembly and provides interns with an opportunity to work alongside legislative leaders in the Illinois state government. Interns work as full-time legislative staffers in the Illinois General Assembly or Illinois Legislative Research Unit. The program seeks to provide participants with an understanding of the legislative process that they can apply to their future careers in academia, business, or government.
