CSX Transportation, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., is the parent company whose subsidiaries provide freight transportation services around the world. CSX operates a 21,000mile rail network that links commercial markets in 23 states, D.C. and two Canadian provinces.
