The Scoop
The Graduate Public Service Internship (GPSI) program offers graduate students from the University of Illinois Springfield the opportunity to work within Illinois state government and municipal agencies. The 21-month program is part of the Center for State Policy and Leadership and gives participants the chance to earn an advanced degree while pursuing a career. Students work part-time during the academic year, while earning their Master’s degrees, and work full time during the summer between their first and second year of school.
