The United States National Arboretum is a 446-acre campus of federally funded gardens and research facilities located on in northeast Washington, DC. Administered by the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service, the National Arboretum provides natural areas and gardens for the general public to enjoy, as well as educational programs and horticultural research. The Arboretum welcomes more than 500,000 visitors each year.
