In 1948, childhood friends Bill Ruder and David Finn decided to start a public relations firm focusing on the business community within fine arts programs. Their goal was to offer those programs corporate PR benefits and provide new sources of support for contemporary artists. Sixty-one years later, Ruder Finn has more than 600 employees and is one of the world’s largest independent agencies. It has created some of the most successful communications campaigns for over 250 startup companies, Fortune 500 companies, world organizations, nonprofits and cultural institutions.
