Pfizer Internship Profile

The Scoop
Pfizer, the world’s largest research-based biomedical and pharmaceutical company, opened its doors as Charles Pfizer & Company in 1849. It was the first U.S. firm to produce tartaric acid and cream of tartar in 1862. It was all uphill after that as Pfizer sales totaled over $3 million—in 1910! With a revenue of $50 billion in 2009, Pfizer is a drug-developing powerhouse, producing ground-breaking products like Viagra, Lipitor and Zoloft. Medical research continues to play an integral role in its operations.
