Founded in 1865, The Nation is the oldest weekly magazine in the US and focuses on arts, books, culture and politics. The journal has had contributions from such notable figures as Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King, Jr., Arthur Miller, Ralph Nader, and Eleanor Roosevelt, to name a handful. The Nation Institute is a nonprofit organization focused on expanding progressive values and growing independent press. The organization features a book imprint called Nation Books, the Investigative Fund, journalism fellowships, and more.
