Morgan Stanley offers a variety of internship programs for both undergraduates and advanced degree candidates. Undergraduates participate in the Summer Analyst program through which they focus on real business projects within one of the following areas: company management, institutional securities, investment management, operations, technology, and wealth management. Those pursuing advanced degrees can work in institutional securities or wealth management through the Summer Associate internship. Morgan Stanley interns work as part of the team, creating work product and contributing to live deals depending on their focus areas. Many interns are assigned multi-week project assignments, which they present at the conclusion of the internship. Interns are offered various networking and training opportunities.

Interested undergraduate students in their sophomore year or above should apply to the Summer Analyst program, and interested MBA, MFE, and PhD candidates should apply to the Summer Associate program. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.
