Established in 1970, the Manhattan Theatre Club has been the creative and artistic home for many gifted theatrical artists, producing works by established and emerging playwrights. The theatre produces works on Broadway out of the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (formerly the Biltmore Theatre) and off Broadway at the New York City Center complex. The Manhattan Theatre Club has around 20,000 subscribers and is committed to offering innovative work, encouraging theatrical talent, and educating.
