Lazard offers Summer Analyst interships and Summer Associate internships, offering students the opportunity to perform similar work as full-time Lazard analysts and associates. Summer analysts gain exposure to investment banking, working with specific industry/product groups. Summer associates complete such tasks as financial analysis and modeling, creating client presentations, and interacting with clients. In addition to client-related assignments, interns are encouraged to explore the firm and become acquainted with their colleagues via both formal and informal mentoring. The firm strives to make as many permanent job offers to its interns as is possible.

Undergraduate juniors are welcome to apply for the Summer Analyst internship program. MBA, graduate, and law students within one or two years of graduation may apply for the Summer Associate internship program. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4/3.5 is required. Liberal Arts, finance, and business majors are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have exceptional analytical and communication skills.
