Morgan is one of the world’s leading investment banks, offering a variety of financial services, including M&A, corporate finance, capital markets, sales and trading, research, prime brokerage, and risk management. Among the firm’s clients are corporations, governments, private firms, non-profits, and individuals. The investment bank is headquartered in New York City and is part of JPMorgan Chase & Co., a financial services firm with trillions of dollars in assets. The company dates back to 1799 and has grown through several prominent mergers, including its acquisition of Bear Stearns & Co. in 2008.

The internship program at J.P. Morgan Investment Bank provides hands-on experience, allowing interns to work on real deals within one of the firm’s industry or product groups. At the start of the program, interns participate in a week-long orientation. During the program, they receive on-the-job training and work on similar projects as full-time analysts. Interns also engage in networking events to meet senior professionals and analysts from other teams and have the opportunity to interact with clients. The firm recruits the majority of its full-time analysts from its intern pool.
