The Scoop
The Fellowship of Reconciliation (“FOR”) is a nonprofit, interfaith organization focused on nonviolence. Tracing its roots back to 1915, the organization provides education, builds coalitions and task forces, and leads actions to achieve justice, nonviolence, and peace. FOR “pursues a vision of a free and ‘demilitarized’ world in which the Earth’s resources sustain life and promote the well-being of all people.” Among its initiatives are I Will Not Kill, the Task Force on Latin America and the Caribbean, the Task Force on the Middle East, and the Task Force on Social, Economic and Racial Justice.
