Founded in 1946, Farrar, Straus & Giroux (FSG) is a trade publishing house based in New York City. The company publishes literary fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and children’s books by a range of distinguished authors, a number of whom have won National Book Awards, Pulitzer Prizes, and Nobel Prizes in literature. FSG’s authors include Jonathan Franzen, Michael Cunningham, and Philip Gourevitch. Among FSG’s imprints are Faber & Faber, Hill & Wang, North Point Press, and Books for Young Readers. The company is part of Macmillan.
