Established in 1989, the Emma L. Bowen Foundation (EBF) is named after co-founder and community activist Emma Bowen. The organization seeks to prepare minority students for media careers through paid summer internships with major media companies. Partners include ABC, A&E, CBS, Comcast, Discovery Networks, Fox, HBO, NBCUniversal, Time Warner Cable, and YES Network, among others.
