The EMI Group is one of the world’s largest recording and publishing companies, and consists of EMI, Virgin, Capitol, Priority, EMI Classics and Blue Note, in addition to a catalogue division, imprints and related labels. EMI was acquired by Terra Firma, a private equity firm, in 2007.
