The Scoop

Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984, and the company introduced its first personal computer in 1986. Today, Dell employs 96,000 people and serves 5.4 million customers every day. In other words, Dell is one of the largest providers of PCs, laptops and servers in the world.

On the Job

Dell interns are given real work, sharing job responsibilities with full- time employees. Duties vary based on the position, but all interns participate in an orientation during the first week and several internship events throughout the summer.

Getting Hired
Apply By:

Rolling. Check online to see if Dell is hosting an event at your college or university. Interested applicants should register through their school’s Career Services Office or submit their resume through the Careers Direct link online. Students may also apply through UNCF or INROADS.

Qualifications:

Sophomores, juniors and Master’s and MBA students with at least a 3.0 GPA are eligible. International applicants are also welcome to apply, but they must be enrolled full-time at an accredited American college or university. Applicants should be majoring in a field relevant to the position for which they are applying.
