Our Admissions Policy Statement proclaims, "The College is committed to fair and equitable admissions policies and procedures. * * * The College recognizes its responsibility to contribute to the equalization of opportunities in law for those who have the motivation and talent for the study and practice of law but who have been unable, because of serious economic, educational, social or other disadvantages, to achieve the traditional indicia of their motivation and talent. One means of meeting this responsibility is through the Legal Education Opportunity Program (LEOP) established in 1969 * * * The equalization of opportunities to study law will further the goal of a racially and socially integrated bar and help meet the needs of all communities for legal representation. Furthermore, the study of law and legal institutions is enhanced for all students by the cultural diversity of the study body."
