The mission of the SF State College of Business is to provide high-quality business education to a diverse learning community through innovative teaching and research programs.

In subsequent reviews of this mission, AACSB observers have noted that a diverse learning community is a distinctive element of the mission at SF State when compared to other business schools.

The college of business strives to maintain multiculturalism as a core value that has been one of the strengths of the college since its inception. Our resources are put to use in a way that develops and encourages our students to be more tolerant towards a pluralistic society and a multicultural work force.
