The FSU College of Business has a minority affairs committee which has duties and responsibilities as follows:


• To solicit, receive and evaluate statements of academic problems encountered by minority students
• To forward accounts of significant statements to individuals and entities—departments, divisions, elected bodies like the senate and faculty professional relations committee—for consideration and constructive action
• To inform each student who presents a problem to the committee of the action taken by the committee relative to the problem
• To serve generally as an interviewing, clearing house, communications channel: receiving, processing, transmitting and intervening with regards to academic problems encountered by minority students

Additionally, the College of Business promotes a diverse work force by including ethnic and minority groups, women, persons with disabilities, etc., in its recruitment, selection and employee retention efforts.
