Your Career at ING Group

ING International Graduate Curriculum

The ING International Graduate Curriculum is a 4 year programme which runs alongside and supplements our 3 year trainee programmes. It provides all trainees of ING around the world with two international cross business learning events: the ING International Graduate Programme in year one and the International Talent Conference in year four, and regional learning events in Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific in year two and three.

Approachable Senior Management

Trainees are encouraged to interact and learn from senior management at any opportunities. In ING, we facilitate this kind of interaction not only in our ING International Graduate Curriculum, but also in our daily work. Senior managers always make themselves available for trainees for coaching, guiding, and advising.

Senior managers in this organisation are very accessible. They challenge me to constantly learn and understand new things. Sibastien Van Ingelgem, Belgium, Wholesale Banking

Long Term Development

We believe your personal development is our responsibility, and by helping you developing yourself, together we will achieve better results.

"ING invests in you as a long-term potential. It's a give-and-take relationship. They expect a lot from you, but they offer endless opportunities: workshops, foreign languages, travel and rotations." - Jason Leousis, Greek, Risk Management

A "Can Do" Culture

Within ING we always say that if you have a new idea, we challenge it, test it, and when it feels right, we pull the whole business together to take it forward. This is the kind of culture we share and highly valued in our organisation.

"The corporate culture at ING is exceptional. Everybody feels they can make a difference. We have a lot of fresh ideas and creative solutions for the challenges we face. Management encourages employee participation and acts on many of the suggestions." - Daniel Vogler, German, ING Direct

International Opportunity

In ING there are ample international opportunities for the junior talent that we are developing. We strongly believe an international company is built on a true international work force.

"...I identified it was time for me to consolidate my careers as a Global manager. ING offered me and international position as a Global Risk Recruiter. I haven't found myself different from many others in ING as they are all from different countries." - Rosario Aguilar, Mexican, ING Group
