Morgan Lewis offers clients nearly 700 litigators across the firm’s 24 domestic and international offices. A significant part of our practice is devoted to steering clients clear of costly litigation through risk avoidance counseling or aggressive, precise negotiation of disputes. Real Estate

With nearly 30 real estate lawyers and other professionals in seven of our firm's domestic offices, our Real Estate Practice covers both coasts and assists clients across the country, wherever their business needs may take them. Known for our efficiency in handling transactions of all sizes and degrees of complexity, we represent large corporations, developers, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), private equity funds, institutional lenders, investors, pension funds and advisers, and special servicers in connection with their ownership, use and financing of real estate.

Along with advice on sophisticated issues, a hallmark of the practice is our responsiveness. And, we work equally well with clients in the real estate industry and those whose business model deploys real estate as a key strategic asset. We regularly handle acquisitions, dispositions, financing, workouts and restructurings, land assemblage, development, investments by foreign entities, sale-leasebacks, leasing, taxation, condemnation, and land use. We collaborate regularly with other practices within the firm to provide coordinated service to our client and maximize efficiency, whatever the demands of the transaction.
