Recognized worldwide as Citibank, the Consumer Group's Retail Banking business operates in 46 countries and has over 3,200 branch locations providing financial products and services that suit customers' needs. Citi Cards, the credit card business, operates in 46 countries and manages over 145 million accounts. It holds a leadership position in both bank and private label cards, providing customer-focused solutions to individuals worldwide. CitiFinancial, the Consumer Finance business with nearly 3,600 branches in over 25 countries, provides products and services to individuals who prefer alternatives to traditional credit. Other businesses within the Global Consumer Group include CitiMortgage, CitiCapital, Primerica, Student Loan Corporation, Women & Company, and Diners Club International.

With $17.9B in earnings, Citi was the most profitable financial services company in the world in 2003. In fact, our net income has grown every year since Citigroup was formed in 1998 through the various economic cycles that we experienced in the last 6 years. Despite our size and past achievements, we feel that we are positioned for continued growth.
