Challenging and (intellectually) rewarding

JWT is one of the “most storied firms in the industry,” and employees think that JWT’s “golden” client list makes their daily work “as challenging and rewarding as any in the industry.”  A senior partner in New York says the office is full of “very smart, creative people.  The culture is changing because there have been many additions to staff from outside, plus new areas of emphasis are bringing in a diverse talent base.”  Employees state that the creative and financial two sides of the house “communicate better than at many other firms.”  However, some critics offer that though there are opportunities for advancement, JWT is not generous with pay increases and there are no bonuses.  And according to one presentations supervisor, “There is a lot of red tape, and it takes a long time to get anything accomplished/approved.  You spend more time doing paperwork for the corporation than your actual work.”  Another adds, “I don’t think upper management cares much for the little people.”
