GM’s careers site offers information about career paths with the company, an invitation to “Step into the Driver’s Seat,” various work locations and a recruiting calendar for college students.  There are separate job databases for experienced professionals, recent grads and for internship positions.  Job openings are searchable through keywords and job types.  Applicants may also apply based on their field like business, technical and manufacturing fields.  Among the departments under business include communications, global finance, HR/labor relations, health and safety, product planning, purchasing and supply chain, sales, service and marketing and treasurer’s office.
