Reviews of EDS are mixed. Some insiders tell us they are pleased to find that they can maintain a "loose working schedule": A strategy and planning manager in Texas cheerfully reports, "I don't work 9 to 5. I can work from home and I have four weeks of vacation." Weekends spent working range from few to as many as 45 per year, but not everyone is bothered by the extra hours. One staffer praises his "great bosses and peers" and says the only downside to the company is that the "work is pretty technical and analytical, so it is a bit boring at times." And an analyst in Australia is perfectly content because the firm's "positives outweigh any negatives."
