Associate Life

Satisfaction
• “I am actually pretty thankful for my job situation. I really like coming to work. The lawyers are really nice. The projects available to young associates are incredible. The flexibility I have in carving out my own niche is really incredible. Love it.”
• “Though I, like most attorneys I know, struggle with maintaining work/life balance in the face of high billable hour requirements, I am extremely satisfied with both the caliber and quality of work I am asked to perform. I receive excellent mentoring from the partners I work with, I have excellent client exposure, and I am generally completely satisfied with the type of projects I am working on and with the amount that I have learned in my years at the firm.”
• “I look forward to coming to work every day at Patton Boggs. The New Jersey office is small enough that you know everyone, but big enough that we work on complex cases of national significance. Junior associates do particularly well here—we get challenging assignments that my friends at other firms would not receive until later in their careers.”
• “Patton Boggs consistently offers challenging work and offers an amazing partner to associate ratio. This makes associates an integral part of the team and the direct training during early stages of new projects helps spur associate growth exponentially. This all culminates in a great feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction as an associate.”
