Several sources note that the more junior members of the hotel team generally work the less desirable shifts -- nights, weekends and holidays. "It is not a cushy hotel job by any means," says one. "There are opportunities for advancement, but not usually within one's own hotel," notes a source in Michigan, "We must ask if there [are] any new jobs within available, as there are no bulletins on job openings." "The orientation went well," says another restaurant worker, "I made several friends from other departments in the first two days."

At the "careers" section of the firm's website, candidates can search for available positions and apply online.  In addition, they can read extensively about the firm's career development opportunities (think lots of internal training and tuition reimbursements), health benefits, financial benefits (an equally long list with offerings such as an "employer-assisted housing benefit to help defray the cost of purchasing a home") and family benefits (i.e., "time off for new parents includes 10 to 12 weeks' paid maternity leave, four weeks paid paternity leave and four weeks paid leave for adoption").
