Dickstein SURVEY SAYS

OUR SURVEY SAYS

Vault’s Verdict: Although a slowdown of work in certain groups has some associates worried about meeting hours requirements, the firm gets high praise overall for an emphasis on mentoring, sincere diversity efforts and having top-notch and friendly attorneys as colleagues.

Associate Life

Satisfaction
• “I get great opportunities from the partners here. They trust you to do your job, but give you a good amount of guidance and feedback so you are always improving.”
• “The experiences that I have had so far have been engaging, interesting and skill-building. They have also been wide-ranging, which I appreciate because I am still exploring the many facets of corporate and transactional work and am in the process of discovering my specific interests.”
• “I have been exposed to a variety of different tasks as a first-year associate and have truly enjoyed working with everyone in my group. People have taken an interest in my development and have provided me with substantive opportunities which are allowing me to gain this valuable experience.”
• “My job satisfaction has declined over time, due to both a declining amount of available work, and internal group dynamics. I still enjoy the work when it is available, and most of the personal relationships with people in my group.”
