According to Aflac, the company is looking for applicants who are "truly passionate" about their work to join its team.  The careers section of Aflac's website offers information for sales positions and corporate employment.  Sales positions are 100 percent commission-based.  Those in the sales force manage their own time and schedule.  New agents are encouraged to participate in specialized programs, including orientation, training and earning the proper certifications.
