ABOUT THIS COMPANY:The authority
Some of the 150,000 works that lie in the archives of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) collection are among the most daring, and at the same time most familiar, art pieces ever produced. Salvador Dali’s “The Persistence of Memory,” Henri Rousseau’s “The Sleeping Gypsy” and dozens of paintings from Chagall, Matisse, de Chirico, Ernst, Klee and Magritte line the walls of the oft-reconfigured museum, one of the top modern art destinations in the world. Even for all that, MoMA has other elements to recommend it besides its artistic pedigree as it strives to bring the world of art closer to the general public.
