Make the grade

An “increased focus on minimum GPA” has raised the stakes at Dixon Hughes and “made it more difficult for some to get in.”  Reports vary on what the real minimum GPA is, but 3.5 looks like a safe bet.  In addition to good grades, recruiters are looking for “significant extracurricular activities, work experience, outgoing personalities and evidence of taking on leadership roles.”  The ideal candidate, says a partner, is someone who will “mesh well with the company’s personality and values.”
