Look to the future 

The firm recruits from “major institutions on the West Coast” and conducts “screening interviews on campus.” The best and the brightest from that event then get invited to go through “five or six interviews in one day in the office, in addition to attending social events.” But if you want to get into the firm, steel your reserve. Usually, about 100 candidates apply for 10 to 20 available spaces—and only 50 make it to the interviews in the formal questioning round. The firm is similarly selective with experienced candidates, who can expect about three rounds of interviews. One insider says he “met with all senior management in the department” during his interviewing process.
