If you are a self starter with experience, then you are just right for Greenberg Traurig. A corporate associate says, “This firm prides itself on hiring candidates that have shown self-initiative and have practical experience. The firm is looking for more than just law review and class rank on a candidate's resume.” An Orlando associate catalogues other qualities that are favored at this firm: “Entrepreneurial, outgoing, a pleasure to work with, as well as the usual high GPA/appropriate law school credentials.” Be aware that recruiters will be watching to see how applicants carry themselves, as well as how they interact with others. A junior associate notes, “As a firm looking for future talent, the same is true. Those students that struggle to make conversation or come on too strong in an attempt to be noticed probably will not make it here. Those students that are comfortable in their own skin and demonstrate that they have an interest in the firm may, if they have what the firm is looking for.”
