Insiders employed in Starbucks' stores say to expect two rounds of interviews. Sources mention that there are "tons of behavioral questions" and "very little emphasis on experience." One contact advises, "Understand something about coffee before you go in." The insider says, "You do not need to be an expert, but have a general idea of the menu and what goes into the drink." The contact adds, "Do not be negative in the interview. Smile and laugh a lot, and make sure to show how friendly you are."
