Several sources note that the more junior members of the hotel team generally work the less desirable shifts -- nights, weekends and holidays. "It is not a cushy hotel job by any means," says one. "There are opportunities for advancement, but not usually within one's own hotel," notes a source in Michigan, "We must ask if there [are] any new jobs within available, as there are no bulletins on job openings." "The orientation went well," says another restaurant worker, "I made several friends from other departments in the first two days."

Note that due to its defense-related business pursuits, many Raytheon positions require U.S. citizenship and a background check. The defense contractor recruits at college campuses across the country -- check the careers site for the recruiting schedule and other info -- and also offers an internship program for college students; a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
