Over 75 years of Legal Practice

In 2004, Williams, Kastner & Gibbs celebrated 75 years of legal practice in the Pacific Northwest. With 90+ attorneys in western Washington and Portland, WK&G represents clients locally, around the United States and internationally. Major practice areas include litigation, employment, healthcare, general business, tax, Indian law and gaming, and product liability.

The Portland firm of Duden Neiman LLP formally joined WK&G in March 2004, adding further depth to the firm's expertise in drug and medical device product liability claims, hospital and negligence claims, personal injury and professional liability. In fact, WK&G defends more health care providers and institutions than any other firm in the region. The firm also regularly represents doctors and dentists before the medical and dental disciplinary boards.

Office space and atmosphere

Complaints are few and far between at WK&G, where associates like the "awesome" office space that features "sweeping views of mountains, Puget Sound, and the Space needle." The firm's lawyers also seem to have time to enjoy the life glimpsed through WK&G's windows.

WK&G is considered a friendly place where it isn't uncommon to have lunch with your colleagues. A labor attorney notes it "feels as much like a family as a 90+ attorney firm can." Stress levels are low despite "serious big time work" that keeps the firm's lawyers intellectually engaged. A seventh-year notes that he gets "lots of responsibility on case management."
