Weyerhaeuser SURVEY SAYS

Weighing before considering Weyerhaeuser

Sources caution that prospective employees should beware before joining the company.  One respondent says that Weyerhaeuser is "going down the tubes" as senior management has an alleged hidden agenda to break the company and sell its pieces, adding that internal politics is unbelievably bad to the detriment of the company, but "nobody wants to change it."  Another source adds that the company's culture has deteriorated from "paternalistic and caring" to one of "individual survival" and that in fact, most of the corporate employees are in a "state of wonderment" as to what will happen next.
