Going downtownIn December 2008, WestLB agreed to a 15-year lease to rent the top three floors (about 129,000 square feet) at 7 World Trade Center in New York. At $80 a square foot, the rent is valued at about $10.3 million. Though the building is more than 80 percent occupied at the time of the signing, seven floors were still available for firms to lease.
