Founded by a former Goldman Sachs banker, Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. is an investment banking and asset management firm based in Houston, Tex. The firm has additional offices in Denver and New York. It also has an affiliate (Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. international) that operates out of London, U.K. The firm's some 130 employees specialize in covering the energy sector, providing research, sales, trading, investment banking, and private investment practices. Its investment banking staff numbers approximately 40 employees, and its research department covers some 100 companies in the upstream, midstream, and oilfield service sectors. The firm is led by its CEO, Bobby Tudor, who worked for Goldman Sachs for nearly two decades in New York, Houston, and London. His positions at Goldman included U.S. southwest region head, and European industrial and natural resources group head.
