Vault's Verdict: Associates rave about the extensive formal training training—which includes the Associates' Comprehensive Education ProgramAssociates' Comprehensive Education Program (ACE) for new attorneys, as well as programs tailored for more senior associates—Associates' Comprehensive Education Programas well as the multitude of pro bono opportunities and frequent socialization with colleagues. They’re less impressed, however, with Skadden’s move from market leader to market follower in compensation, especially when hours continue to be long and unpredictable.
