The firm has the largest tax practice in Michigan and roots that go back to 1941 when Wayne Wagar founded a small practice in the Great Lake State. The Rehmann name was added after a 1961 merger created Wagar, Lunt & Rehmann, and in 1985, the firm became Rehmann, Robson & Company. Several decades of organic growth and growth by acquisition turned Wagar’s company into one of the Midwest’s largest accounting and business advisory firms.
