Mott MacDonald’s Management Consultancy Division is a titan of the management, engineering and development consulting world. Based in London, U.K., the parent company Mott MacDonald Group (MMG) was created in 1989 as the result of a merger between two firms—transportation engineering firm Mott, Hay and Anderson and water engineering consultancy outfit Sir M MacDonald & Partners. Founded in 1902 and 1921, respectively, the companies brought with them a history of working on large-scale projects such as the London Underground (Mott) and the Channel Tunnel (MacDonald).
