ABOUT THIS COMPANY:One office, three sectors, six principles
The small, closely-held Lexicon Partners is relatively young. It was formed in 2000 as an independent corporate advisory firm focusing on the financial services sector; its founders had worked together at Phoenix Securities Limited and in the Financial Institutions Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette International. Lexicon's business expanded in 2004 when it hired a utilities team to lead the firm into the utilities and infrastructure sectors. Since its inception, Lexicon has advised on more than 80 completed transactions with a combined market value of more than £20 billion. Although it operates from its head office in London, Lexicon has worked on global transactions for clients in the UK, US, continental Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
