Working in a not-for-profit organization may seem difficult, but most insiders find Kaiser Permanente (KP) a “great place to work.”  With a “relaxed” working environment and a corporate culture of “ethical and social responsibility,” Kaiser Permanente allows for a fair bargaining between the employer and the unions.  As one contact said, “we are allowed to have even more of a voice at the table in almost every level.  Kaiser seems to want front-line staff involved in fundamental details of business decisions.”
