Bill Hines, the Managing Partner of Jones Walker, accepted the request from New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin to serve with Dan Packer, CEO of Entergy New Orleans, as co-chair of the Economic Development Committee of the Blue Ribbon Commission to Rebuild New Orleans. Hines has testified before the U.S. Senate Environment & Public Works Committee in Washington D.C. concerning federal response to Hurricane Katrina and the ongoing economic and other recovery efforts.
