Friendly folks

“People are friendly and work hard” at HA&Q, even though there’s “not always a lot of communication from senior management,” according to insiders. “Sometimes employees are left to decipher “secondhand information.” The hours, however, do tend to be fairly “steady throughout the year” and run anywhere from 40 to 60 hours per week. Weekend work is “rare” (except for the busy season). Management is good about giving staff “flexibility,” and there’s generally a “lack of micromanagement” within the office. And staff members enjoy that there’s “a lot of opportunity” to grow at the firm.
