ABOUT THIS COMPANY:

Dorsey SURVEY SAYS

Vault’s Verdict:  Associate morale has taken a hit at Dorsey & Whitney, with one of the primary sources of disgruntlement being a perceived slight in compensation. But the firm’s reasonable hours, generous feedback from partners and interesting work score high.

Satisfaction
• “[I am] overall satisfied, although the increasing pressure to […] bring in business is taking its toll.
• “Very happy with the type and quality of work and the exposure to clients.”
• “The work is as advertised. It can be challenging and occasionally the hours can run long, but it's what you get paid to do and generally the subject matter is interesting enough to keep you engaged.”
• “I like my colleagues and work with very talented people, but the mid-level grind of e-discovery is tiresome.”
